It allows to set different screen resolutions in VirtualBox from System Preferences. The changes I've made to the fork have been minimal. 3. Hi guys, I Have an ASUS N752VX, and I've installed mac OS High Sierra, in my laptop. Unfortunately I have some problems with kexts. NOT WORKING: - Touchpad I2C, - Ethernet. P.S. Maybe , the second one, is caused by my USB Wi-fi, because my wi-fi module seems to not work 'cause it is not compatible!

Grazie in anticipo. 5. Hi everyone, I'm using the latest ACPIBatteryManager on 10.13.2 from Rehabman. I built from latest source with latest SDK to fix the issue that battery not appearing on startup. The problem is the battery menubar not updating until I refresh it myself by toggling show/hide battery percentage. I tried build the Debug scheme with Logging. The kext still polling status every 30s but the battery menubar icon does not respond. Any Solution? Thanks all!DSDT.aml.zip
6. Hi there, I had to reinstall El Capitan on my Hackintosh, as it was installed in Clover Legacy Mode before (with everything working just fine). Now I installed it again in UEFI mode and since then, Audio (ALC892) is not working anymore (Neither in UEFI or Legacymode). I tried to install the same 2 Kexts as before (AppleHDA modified and HDAEnabler1) using Kextutility (wich was working fine before as well). It always fails to install AppleHDA, as it cannot Backup or modify the Original AppleHDA in System/Extensions (Can't copy sourcefile). I also tried the same, using the root Account, using terminal with kextunload / load and even a script for clover. They all fail to modify / delete the Original AppleHDA. Trying to rename / move or delete the Original file with Terminal or Finder is not working as well, I get an Error, saying that the file cannot be modified because OS X requires it. So how can I install the Kext to get my audio working again? System is El Capitan (10.11.6)... Thank You!
7. Scheda video non riconosciuta

Salve a tutti. Sapreste aiutarmi? Grazie in anticipo per le risposte
8. I know this is kind of broad, but if I build a workstation that's well supported on High Sierra now, how likely is it to still work well with the next major OSx release next fall? If you had to guess, what % chance do I have of encountering major issues when trying to update next fall? The kinds of issues that would seriously interfere with my day to day work of photo and video editing? For example, kext/kernel panics (is that even a thing still?) or major pieces of hardware suddenly not being supported, and so on... Has migrating your Hackintosh to the latest release has gotten easier in recent years? So for those of you who have been making builds for a while, is going from Sierra to High Sierra causing you fewer problems than Mavericks --> Yosemite for example or Yosemite --> El Capitan etc? Sorry if this is a bit broad and ignorant, but I've been away from the forums for quite a while and just trying to get a sense of how "stable" and "future-proof" Hackintoshes are these days - compared to Apple's own desktops ... I'm OK not updating incrementally ie v13.1 to v13.2 if I need to, but I'm worried about having to start completely from scratch with each new main version.
9. Hi Everyone, Hoping someone can help me, so i managed to update from sierra to high sierra on my hackintosh however, after the update installed my usb ports do not work so neither do my keyboard or mouse, now i know this is because i did not place the usb kext file into the efi clover folder, is there anyway to do this through the initial clover bootloader screen? or do i have to reinstall sierra again and go through the whole process, reason i dont want to do this is because i would have format the ssd and i did not back up some files which i dont want to lose, if any one can give me some advise please, id really appreciate it. Thanks.

11. Hi guys, I am creating this topic to discuss an idea I had about a way to force the Mac OS installer to not install using apfs. So we know that apfs does not runs well on drives not made by apple because it's designed to run on apple firmware, so error correcting features will not work and this will cause data corruption and data lose over the long period of time, so some people will like more to not use apfs and avoid all that problems, but apple has integrated an ssd detection mechanism that will force to upgrade to apfs if an ssd is detected, so my idea is to create a kext that is loaded before the system initializes sata devices and then forces the system to detect all sata and nvme devices as hard drives, I think that is possible, but I do not know iokit so much well to do it, so I am creating this thread, to ask if it's possible to create something like that using io kit and other system libraries to create a kext the could work with clover kext injection and force the system to see all the ssd as hard drives, and also other idea for the kext is that it will enable itself to run only when you are booting into a Mac OS installer, maybe that could be also done using a clover kext to patch string directly on the sata family kext, so what do you think about my idea? is there someone that could help me to create the kext or a clover patch? Thank you for checking out my thread, I hope that we will find a solution soon PS: I know that there re things like scripts and commands to install without apfs, but my aim is to create a method that lets the users to tone perform any special task inside the Mac OS installer
Bueno paso a comentarles.

Grazie mille.
16. Hello everyone, Some days ago I started a new Hackingtosh project with my Lenovo yoga 3 14. It's the first time I have tried to do this so I'm a bit confused. Quick recap: First I downloaded a OSx Sierra image and created a bootable USB drive with transmac on Windows Installed Clover in the USB After many attempts and changing my clover options a hundred times I finally got to install OSx Sierra on my main SSD Drive Then I installed clover on the SSD so I can boot without the USB Now, here is the problem: I have been trying to fix my graphics and audio/wifi. I've used #####, #####, KextUtility but neither of them worked... (I know I can't ask for support on these tools) I'm not sure what kexts to install because I'm not able to gather my system's components, also don't know how to install them could anyone help me please?
17. VoodooTSCSync Configurator

This app can be used to edit or create custom versions of the voodoo tsc sync kext, i have created it because i have seen many times peoples having troubles in finding the right version of voodoo tsc sync for their cpu, so i created a mac app that lets to edit or create a voodoo tsc kext and configure it for your system, i have included 3 ways to edit the kext: 1) configure using one of the existing templates (just chose one of the cpu models listed) 2) specifying the number of logical cores (threads) 3) manually editing the info.plist of the kext using the editor (still experimental, needs some improvements) This app uses a copy of the VoodooTSCSync in his Resourches folder, or you can open an existing version of VoodooTSC and edit it, there are some other useful features to discover, and new ideas are also welcome to improve this program, i know that with a plist editor you can do what this app does, but this is designed to be more user friendly than editing a plist file manually and just for accomplish the task of configuring this kext for your machines without looking on the web for that specific pre-configured version you need, just download this program and follow a few steps. Reference topic: VoodooTSCSync Configurator, create a custom version of voodoo tsc sync
18. I have a Mac mini server with Yosemite, and I plugged a VGA Display using a VGA/HDMI adapter. The issue is, when I shut down or restart the server, the display is not recognized, then I need to go to unplug and plug again, and server now recognizes the display. I need to know how to make a logical "reconnection" for the adapter. For example on Windows I use a devcom application to enable or disable the devices. I was reading that the possible solution is using a kextunload command on terminal. I don't know which kextfile I need to "unload" for the HDMI adapter. On terminal: /System/Library/Extensions/ kextunload exampleflile.kext kextload examplefile.kext Anybody have an idea about my issue? Another way to solve it? Thanks in advance Greetings from Mexico.
19. Hello to all! Yesterday I finished installing OS X Mavericks onto my PC and all is working fine apart from one problem. I cannot change the resolution to anything that isn't 4:3, and I can't boot without the flag nv_disable=1 (which I believe is why I can't change the resolution). I have set up my org.chameleon.Boot.plist correctly as well in case any one asks. Anyways when I boot without that flag I get stuck with AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext timing out (see image). I have been trying to solve this for literally 12 hours and I have tried everything from installing the patched AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement, to installing the NullCPUPowerManegmenmt.kext. I even installed the AppleACPIPlatform Rollback to see if that would fix it and nothing I have done at all has fixed it. As mentioned before I can boot as long as I use the nv_disable=1 flag but it would be nice to use this at a nicer resolution. Also I do have drivers for my GPU (GTX 750ti) installed and it is detected correctly by the system. I am completely stuck and I have no idea what else to try so any help would be much appreciated! Image of where I get stuck: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4ZVlmeZ7NFnUnlRMHloNURPSGs/view?usp=sharing Thanks in advance!!

21. Hi guys, I ask to the developers of this community, I'm am developing a kext for a pci device for Mac OS and I want to add custom boot args to it to enable a diagnostic mode (it just defines a particular macro when the boot arg is detected) or to add other stuff in the future, can you help me? 22. Hi there, I've been struggling for a while now with getting my Asus z270g motherboard's onboard lan to work with Sierra. I've been able to get most of the other components working thanks to the generous efforts of this forum, but this last problem has been causing me quite the level of stress! The z270g apparently has a i219-v chip, however it appears to be a bit different than the device's supported by IntelMausiEthernet (Which I've heard works very well with that chipset). It's using deviceID 8086:15d6 After looking through the source of the driver it appears that the particular device id isnt being searched for: 00:1f.6 Ethernet controller [0200]: Intel Corporation Ethernet Connection (5) I219-V [8086:15d6] Subsystem: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. Ethernet Connection (5) I219-V [1043:8672] Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 123 Memory at df100000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) Capabilities: <access denied> Kernel driver in use: e1000e Kernel modules: e1000e Here's what I've tried so far: With IntelMausiEthernet kext: Installed driver in /S/L/E and /L/E in addition to the Clover bootloader kext directory. By itself, none of these caused kextstat to load the driver automatically (Aside from the clover directory) Spoofing the Lan ID to something that the driver did support (ie one of the ones that was also using the i219v chipset), caused the driver to load (via kextstat), but no devices in system information or the network pref panel Followed a number of steps in the troubleshooting steps that Mieze listed with the same result (driver loaded but no devices) Didn't see any useful logging info in the debug info steps but happy to get that info if it would help With AppleIntelE1000e kext (from insanely mac)Very similar results to above With AppleIGB kextNo luck across the board (although I haven't tried spoofing the id with this drive) Happy to provide more information that would be relevant to the situation but not sure exactly what would help. Thanks!

24. Linksys AE6000 on macOS Sierra So after a bit of work I got Sierra installed on to my MacBook Air 2,1! The only issue is wifi. To remedy this issue till I can get a new wifi card, I decided to see if I could use my Linksys AE6000 on Sierra. Requirements: Linksys AE6000(or similar RT2870 card) Yosemite RT2870 kext D-Link Pref Pane(DWA-140, thanks! @rodrigocunha) Kext Utility To get the Yosemite kext for the RT2870, I had to go through Mediatek's installer with Pacifist. I did try the Mavericks kext from the other RT2870 thread but it didn't work. The files will be attached below! (RT2870 Kext,DWA-140 Pref Pane file,Kext Utility Now to the process: I'm not sure if order matters but I had the DWA-140 Pane installed already Next drag and drop the RT2870 USB WiFi in to Kext Utility Reboot(with or without your USB Adapter attached) Your adapter should be blinking or working with the DWA-140 Utility Have fun, enjoy!
