Works fine with recovery, great work! Running 11.2.

I did a restart from the apple menu inside recovery and it booted recovery again. Does booting recovery change the Startup Disk option?

/Eddie

Yes, booting recovery change the "LastBootedVolume".

That's something we can prevent quite easily, if everyone agrees.

+1 vote for recovery to not touch which OS should be selected as default on reboot. Lets her what others think.

Hi,

happy new year everyone.

Does anyone can boot a BigSur recovery with this efi CloverX64-2021-01-21-14-35-53-ee5e05c-dirty-jief.zip ?

Thanks.

Thanks :)  I try to boot BS 11.2 Beta 2 (Preboot and Recovery partition): same issue shutdown after [EB|#LOG:EXITBS:START] on my Z390 config. :bye: Clover work fine with latest GitHub commit (01/18).

Notes: in this thread, dirty-fief.zip file = 760,5Ko became 779Ko zip file when I download it (2,1Mo decompressed). Maybe a download and decompress issue...

I committed recovery support.

You can try your own build, now.

Other topic :
I have my bluetooth not working after sleep/wake. Any idea what should I try to debug that ?

I'm using BcrmFirwareData.kext and BcrmPatchRAM2 and AirportBrcmFixup.kext with Mojave.

@Jief_Machak Do you try the kernel boot argument for BcrmPatchRAM !

As of this writing, the commit recovery support is not on the GitHub repository.

I can see some args here https://github.com/acidanthera/BrcmPatchRAM, but nothing about sleep/wake. At boot, it always works fine.

I don't have edit button, but there is an edit menu item in the 3 dots menu.

Mistake : I had a look to BrcmPatchRAM, not BrcmPatchRAM2. Where is BrcmPatchRAM2 hosted ?

All BrcmPatchRAM's are hosted at the same place acidanthera/BrcmPatchRAM, with different info.plist. When you download the release, you download all the kexts for several macOS version.

@Slice Administrators

The Edit button has disappeared since the changes of typo ! So can't modify the post.

I'm the only one who has this problem or it's everyone.

the same, the edit button has disappeared, and this is not good for those who want to participate constructively on the forum
Maybe they're working on templates and fonts, as I see some news in this area

Catalina & BS:

BrcmBluetoothInjector.kext

BrcmFirmwareData.kext

BrcmPatchRAM3.kext

Mojave, high sierra, sierra etc..:

BrcmBluetoothInjector.kext

BrcmFirmwareData.kext

BrcmPatchRAM2.kext

NB: these are the kexts to use in EFI

I began by update Bcrm... kexts.
I also add "BrcmBluetoothInjector.kext". Don't know what it's for because it was working without it.
Put the computer to sleep and woke it up 1 hour later. Seems that Bluetooth is still working.

So far so good.

that depends on BT models, some don't need it, others like the BT I have on the Z370 if I don't put the injector doesn't activate

Good Morning

good job to the whole team

Clover is getting better and better, most of my hacks just need 4 Quirks which makes it very easy to work

Thanks to everyone who participates in this great project and does not abandon it because for me it is still the bootloader of choice

mac os 11.2 (20D62) boots perfectly with Clover. The recovery also loads without problems. Clover loads recovery faster than OpenСore, and this is very pleasing. Thank you to the developers.

The full installation from the USB flash drive takes place automatically, without my intervention. Clover began to work fully with Big Sur

@Jief_Machak Same with my notebook 1, 2: Big Sur System, Recovery and Installer USB booted just fine with the latest commits.

Mojave System, Installer USB and Recovery also okay. I suppose it's the same with other versions. Nice work!

Good evening everyone, thank you @Slice for updating the Git with your release (that I got notified):

https://github.com/CloverHackyColor/CloverBootloader/releases/tag/5129

Can you kindly confirm that this version also fixes the problem reported with <key>PluginType</key> ?

If this is the case indeed and contains @Jief_Machak's fix can you kindly update it in the Release Notes on Git?

It's useful to keep for historical/reference reasons, especially for us not able or knowledgeable to build from sources or read/understand commits...

Thank you all for your input and contributions!
