jape
It's a list of all active class instances from IOKit grouped by parent class. It somewhat ressembles Windows Device Manager "list devices by connection" menu item, only that it shows the driver classes which are handling every hardware (virtual or real) component. Hope someone can give a more techinal explanation Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/27250-macbook-pro-ioreg-l-output/#findComment-185996 Share on other sites
TheMaxx32000
@Mash I need it! It shows Device and Vendor Id's of all build-in components. I need it to tryout something with EFI X1600 and ALC880. If you would be so kind, I would be very thankful. Max EDIT: Mash - Macbook or MacBookPro?! I need MacBook Pro ioreg-l output... or iMac (X1600, CoreDuo) ioreg-l otput! Swad
Yeah, I was really asking why it's needed. Thanks though. TheMaxx32000- Sorry, I've just got the regular ole' MacBook. I'll be getting an iMac soon, though, but hopefully you'll have it by then.
