Tonight i will try the Update again using the combo update and patched AppleHDA. any one have luck? cheers Now i have lion 10.7.3 working fine. 1.- Backup mach_kernel to mach_kernel2 and boot with string mach_kernel2, or boot with original kernel and string cpus=1 (for fix LAPIC kernel panic) 2.- Open and extract AICPU.kext and pach with speed_stepper_lion_1073_11d24, or use NullCPUPM.kext on extra and boot with -f (fix AICPU kernel panic ) 3.- Remove ApleHDA (because i use VoodooHDA) When successful boot remember rename or delete mach_kernel (original kernel) and rename mach_kernel2 to march_kernel for enable quick boot (kernel cache) hi gabriel, yes mine ATI 6770m is also recognized by appleworm DDST, it´s shows in System Info, but no works. my BIOS is F.1A and i do have the option Fixed/dynamic Graphics options. also there is the F1A Upgrade named F1B but there is no extra options. I read somewhere that it´s possible to flash The Rom drive of 6770M into 5770M to be fully working by OS X but it´s danger from someone like me PS: Could you provide me the AICPUPM.ktext from a Working OSX86 LION 10.7.2 to make my benchmark score running 9600 instead of 6400 scored. I tried this guide and work in my laptop. Mi laptop are this specs. i5-2430 8gb ram ddr5 Ati 6770 2gb gddr5 + intelHD3000 Hard disk 640gb But...... When i've first boot in 1073(chimera boot) Windows don't work(BOOTMBR notfound) But it's no problem! In 1073 i've Russian language. When i changed language in Italian and reboot Lion, Kernel Panic: -(cpu 0 caller 0xffffff8000648d7b): "Unable to find driver for this platform:\"ACPI\".\n"@/SourceCache/xnu/xnu-1699.24.8/iokit/Kernel/IOPlatformExpert.cpp:1502). nuno2 Posted February 4, 2012 Share Posted February 4, 2012 So here's the deal: I installed this using the provided .dmg with a small modification (added mbr patch). Then i managed to boot using the usb stick with cpus=1. Finally, I tried to install chamaleon with no success... It says boot0:error. I've set the mac os x lion partition as active. The strange thing is that with other distros the bootloader installed correctly.
