Just installed lion after 3 failed attempts. Only problem right now is that the ethernet is not working. After some reading I found out that I need to get the AppleRTL8169.kext from DP1 to get networking. Is that correct? If so, could someone please lead me to the kext

Thanks in advance :D

Found driver here:

Thanks you !! No kernel panic for this one on Lion 10.7 GM !! ;)

What also worked for me is to install the Realtek kexts from the latest ##### package. Since I had it saved already on disk and I had no network to download anything, I though I would try it, and it worked fine B)

After reboot, Realtek ethernet was working.

I used the latest ##### to get mines working. I didnt choose lnxtomac driver, I chose the third one in the network list and it worked without hesitation, didnt even have to reboot.

EDIT EDIT: I finally got it to work. But not with the method the previous poster mentioned. Final LION removed the kext, you have to use the Kext from DP1 of Lion.
