Its a g4 (Yeh i know not as powerful as the one's most of you guys have) But hey its my first mac and im happy as larry! (Who is larry?) Anyways..Its comes with 256mb and i want atleast 512mb even a gig so i was wondering what good places (and cheap) I could find some ram? Escape311 Posted August 16, 2006 Share Posted August 16, 2006 Sweet! What G4 is it? PowerMac, Powerbook, etc? AGP Graphics, Quicksilver, etc? I just got a G4 PowerMac 400MHz and it runs OSX 10.4.7 just fine. A little slow but mainly I need more RAM. I only 512MB now. If you're looking for RAM, go to ebay. It will be much cheaper there. And don't let anybody fool you into thinking that you can only use Mac RAM. I have 4 sticks of Kingston from my PC in there now and it's fine.
