I as well had it working using Clover/OSX 10.8.5. in order to get it to work without safe mode, you need to add three kexts to your extra folder, or in the Extensions folder itself. If you followed the Surface Pro instructions, you should have downloaded the zip that came with that guys tutorial. Inject the 3 kexts that he provides within that zip and you should be able to boot up without any args. (Besides the InjectEDID) As for the Pen Calibration/working, I was as stumped as you officeninja. I tried both Companion and 13HD drivers, neither of them worked and gave me the same input. I believe the reason why is because the digitizer for the Companion is connected via a special USB port, and not an HDMI port like the Hybrid or a 13HD is. The only thing I can think of is trying to get ahold of a member of the Linux Wacom Project peeps and see if they have any way to work around it. Otherwise, there is no point in continuing to try this. I also had another weird issue, I could plug in a USB mouse and it would work, but I wouldn't be able to see a cursor. Was that the case for you guys too? I had thought about giving Mavericks a try too, but I figured it is all worthless until we figure out a way to get the Wacom drivers working. Ciao

The farthest I got was to a white screen with the pinwheel of death (pre-install). What loader, Mac OSX version, etc are you using!!? Would like to help with the process. Thanks! Looking good.

I got mine today. i was having the same issue as you, but then i found someone who had used Clover bootloader on a surface, and i tried it. so far i have been able to boot into the Mountain Lion installer, but sits at a pinwheel and nothing else pops up. i am trying various kexts and boot args to troubleshoot. will let you know if i make anymore progress. ps - i love this thing, but is your pen calibration working right? when i get to the edges its all wonkers.
4. DSDT Auto-Patcher

Hey Mald0n, Do you think you could help me out as well? I have the new Alienware m14x 2630qm Sandybridge/Chipset HM67 running Lion OSX 10.7.1! I have half functioning graphics HD 3000 (Stretched Screen Green Garbage colors) But the following do not work. Audio, Sleep, Fn Keys (brightness control) etc. and USB (System Profiler won't show my USB2.0 and with the NEC USB3.0 kext installed, my 3.0 ports freeze my computer) Can you please help patch this ? Audio Codec in this laptop is ALC 665 Wireless : 0% - Intel Wifi 6502 USB3 Partially (PXCHD.Kext) Intel HD Graphics : 60% - HD3000 - (QE/CI - 1600x900 resolution - Internal LCD/ but stretched and garballed colors) Nvidia Graphics : 0% - GT 555M (Nvidia Optimus graphics) Sound : 0% - alc665 Trackpad : 100% Internal Ethernet: 90% Artheos AR8151 - I say 90% because it has been working fine for a bit, but I just received my first KP because of it out of the blue. Also, don't know if this has anything to do with a DSDT, but in my System Profiler my Power On Self-Test says FAILED and Failure type says Memory, but under Memory in the SP, it reads my Memory correctly, any idea? ***MAIN FOCUS*** - Screen fix! I have been told that by adding Dual Link functionality top GFX0 it should fix this problem. I have tried this myself, but it wont compile the DSDT because I'm getting Errors. This is what has to be done --> http://tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=28851 Please please please help me out! send_me.zip Much Appreciated!

You mean wait for a solution to the SpeedStepper KP or the Screen Distortion/Stretched/Blowup?? Thanks man.
6. DSDT Auto-Patcher

Hey MaLd0n, Here is a photo of after what my screen looks like with NullCPUPM.kext in E/E As you can see the screen is distorted and stretched/blownup (when i use -v flag on boot, the last line before DSMOS Arrived is "Transcript Offline - Buffer Pool Allocation [181000] Failed") Then here is what the Kernal Panic is when I ran Speed Stepper 1.2 for Lion GM and removed NullCPUPM.Kext from E/E
7. DSDT Auto-Patcher

MaLd0n, I did what you said with the NativePM (speedstepper) removed NullCPUPowerManagement, now I get a Kernal Panic right as it goes to boot (-v) ???
8. DSDT Auto-Patcher

Hey MaLd0n, I have a huge favor to ask of you. I need my DSDT patched to have a CPU Device ID of 0116. I am trying to get my HD 3000 intergrated graphics to work with Lion OSX. Its weird, on boot screen, the last line tells me "Buffer Pool Allocate Failed", but it still loads the SNB.kext, and the HD 3000 kext, but i'm getting a distorted and stretched Laptop screen with interlacing and funky colors. Was reading up on fixes and on Tonymacx86 website Tony says that you have to inject a Mac CPU Device ID, and my specific one is 0116, I dont know how to edit DSDT's so I was hoping you could fix it for me. My specifications are : Alienware m14x i7-2635QM 8GB Ram IntelHD3000/nVidia GT555m if you need anymore info, let me know, thanks! send_me.zip
9. Well, I am trying it on two different Laptops.... One is a Samsung Series 9 NP900X3A-A03US - i5-2537m/128gb ssd/4gb ram (Only GFX is a Intell HD 3000) And I tried on a Alienware m14x i7-2630m/8gb ram/500gb (Optimus Intel HD 3000/nVidia GT555m)
10. I'm getting a hang at DSMOS has arrived! ??????? I followed the guide correctly. Not sure whats going on. Thanks!

This directed to me?
12. DSDT Auto-Patcher

Yeah, before, I installed 10.6.3 then updated to 10.6.8, used ##### (#####), added EFI string for Intel HD 3000, rebooted, and It kept hanging on OSMetaClass: Kext org.netkas.FakeSMC class FakeSMC is a duplicate;kext org.netkas.fakesmc already has a class by that name. Kext org.netkas.FakeSMC start failed (result 0xdc00400a). Kext org.netkas.FakeSMC failed to load (0xdc008017). Failed to load kext org.netkas.FakeSMC (error 0xdc008017). but in my Extras and S/L/E their were no dupes. Hopefully this DSDT helps figure something out. Thanks MaLd0n, I'll keep you posted. Any Idea why I can only get a bootloader to run by using USB (not to mention the only one i can get to load by USB is Nawcom's ModUSB). Once I have installed 10.6.8 and used ##### to install Chimera or Chameleon, I get a constant reboot loop...it doesn't even boot into the loader...just a blackscreen that keeps shutting on and off, on and off, every 3 seconds. PS - This is before I had you create the DSDT, so we'll see after this install.

14. DSDT Auto-Patcher

Hey MaLd0n, Can you please help me out with this DSDT? Its a Samsung Series 9 i5-2537m 13in - 128GB SSD - 4GM Ram It's the new laptop that is extremely similar to a Macbook Air. P.S.- are their definitions for 13" Macbook Air?! Here is the send-me.zip Thank You in Advance! send_me.zip
15. Samsung Series 9 NP900X3A-A03US

So I have successfully install 10.6.3 on a Samsung Series 9 laptop, using USB Bootable (Nawcom's ModUSB + SL 10.6.3 Retail). Once I go to install 10.6.7 Combo update, I get a kernel panic during install at registering files (towards the end of install). I reinstalled 10.6.3, booted up, installed 10.6.8 combo and went flawlessly, used ##### #####, rebooted, now I get a continuous loops on boot, no bootloader. if i insert the Nawcom bootusb, I get the bootloader, but system halts at [PCI Configuration Begin]. ????? Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!
