hi i am trying to build a strong solid system..i need your help choosing the right parts?

 

these what i want the system to have

 

 

Dual Processor i7 950 3.06 GHZ

12Gb Ram Expandable to 24 if possible

1 250GB SSD System drive

7TB internal Raid 0 (can be software raid)

Wireless internet card

4 Usb ports

1 or 2 esata ports (I think there is one already on the coolermaster enclosure)

2 graphics cards 1 gt120, 1 gt285

Blackmagic design video card decklink extreme 3d

don't know much about sound but needs to have sound

1 or 2 firewire 800 ports

bluetooth

 

 

can you help me choose the parts? and let me know what parts are 100% compatible with snow leopard?

Here is the Gold Standard. All of the parts are %100 compatible. Go for it!

Everything you specified should work without needing really specific parts. Good luck finding a compatible mobo though. Also, there is no such thing as a %100 compatible hackintosh.

He's being serious. Your processor, and SSD are fine – I don't know about using two GPUs but I know some people have done it. 24 GB of RAM is certainly doable, just look for sticks that work with the board you pick. Your best bet as far as a motherboard goes is looking for an EX58-UD5 from Gigabyte. Amazon had them the last I checked, but that was a while ago.

how about dual processor board like tyran and micro motherboard?
