4. I did. Failsafe doesn't work. Unticking Inject ATI brings me to the desktop (without graphic acceleration nor correct resolution). Il n'y a plus que des francophones sur ce fil :-D
5. Hello, I'm definitively stuck at Apple boot screen right after lines scrolling (verbose mode) when the Apple load bar begins to grow (but doesn't grow at all because frozed). Optiplex 780 / Core 2 Duo / XFX HD5450 1GB / Sierra 10.12 or 10.12.3 (both doesn"t work). I followed the guide in post 1 and used the right files (config.plist DSDT). Any help? ThX

(But yes it looks to work and i feel i'm closed to got it thanx Jmantoo ) I pluged off the power when the music came but i had to wait the music stopped to be able to configure OSX. After that i arrived on my desktop with everything working (even QE/CI with my x3100 !!!!) but when i rebooted my main display just showed a black screen (my ext display works). I don't know what to do... I'll continue to search. Somebody is able to help me earn time? Thank you

Hello, thank you for your experience. I still encounter some problems you didn't have. My question is how did you set your dsdt? Thank you. I know it is plenty of tutorials on the web but it are all ununderstandable. Thanx
12. Thank you for assistance, i appreciate. I've tried a lot of possibilities, the fact is that with my ressources, booting on ##### USB and Retail USB is the only way to get my SL in 64 bits with the pittfalls i encounter. I try to understand why this way works and the other not. To precise my issue i'll answer your question. I made a successful SL 32 bit installation with #####, i edited the com.apple... text with the "arch=x86_64 line" after what my boot wasn't working anymore, i tried to boot in -x32 and it worked again. I don't remember how i get the idea but edited the com.apple... in the preboot.dmg with 64 bit boot line (in ##### key) and then i was able to boot in 64 bit! But impossible anymore to boot less the two installations keys plugged(Retail and #####). A last point: do you know what does this line mean? <string>rd(0,0)/Extra/mach_kernel</string> It is in my preboot/com.apple... file, when i edit it nothing work anymore. Thank you very much.
13. Hello, What are the follow of operations during a preboot and boot when starting a Hackintosh installation and installed system? I installed a SL on a Asus P6T WS. I'm only able to boot in 64bit if i installed SL with two USB keys (one for ##### and the other for the Retail DVD). My system recognizes 64 bit mode only if i edit the preboot.dmg/com.apple.boot.list with arch=x86_64 argument on my ##### USB key. I can't remove any of those keys then i assume my boot needs datas located on both of those supports. I've trie to move all the ##### USB'folder and file on the root volume but i don't really know how works the boot process. How to copy all the files from my ##### USB and Install Retail USB to my root volume and edit correctly the relations with the EFI, DSDT, etc? How to do an exhaustive diagnose of the boot process? Thank you.
14. Hello world and sorry for my english;) -Why am i only able to launch SL Retail installation with ##### install CD on my system? -Why my system boots up in 32 bit but not in 64 after ##### it however it works in 64bit if i boot on a USB Stick (with edited arch=x86_64 in com.apple.boot.plist in extra/preboot.dmg)? -Since my USB ChameleonBoot stick with preboot works fine in 64 bits i copied the #####'s extra folder on my root partition. -My 64bit system's boot hangs like on the joined picture. Here's my com.apple.boot.plist: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>Kernel</key> <string>rd(0,0)/Extra/mach_kernel</string> <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string>arch=x86_64 PCIRootUID=1</string> <key>SMBIOS</key> <string>rd(0,0)/Extra/smbios.plist</string> <key>Legacy Logo</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Boot Banner</key> <string>No</string> </dict> </plist> ...and my system: -Asus P6T WS Pro -Xeon E5640 -3GB DDR3 -2 500GB Samsung HD. Thank you.
15. Hello, use iAtkos S3 distr. for that kind of motherboard, it's just perfect. If you prefer Vanilla install anyway: If the ramdisk doesn't load it is a path definition issue in your USB Key com.apple.boot.plist. You have to edit the preboot.dmg (open the dmg as an image, copy content in a new preboot folder, edit the com.apple.boot.plist, open Disk utility, file/new/image from folder, choose hybrid image, make a new preboot.dmg, replace). The line in com.apple... looks like that: <string>rd(0,0)/Extra/mach_kernel</string> or <string>mach_kernel</string> Hope this help.
