Korrupted
**Moved to Apple computers and hardware** You can do an archive and install installation, can't you? vince29
Reinstall will not erase your 2nd hard drive untill you want it to do so. Moreover, if you have enough disk space on your first hard drive and you have important files on it, you might use the "archive" option, while reinstalling : it will keep your current system in a renamed folder and all your files will be kept too. tonik
OK thank you very much. Ill cross my fingers than and reinstall. Its really cool that the osx installer can archive the old system but the exact reason i reinstall for is to get rid of all the system files and renew them. tnx both of u for the fast reply Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/23450-osx-reinstall-on-a-real-mac/#findComment-155706 Share on other sites
Pantalaimon
the installer ask u on what partition install the OS, you just choose the one you want to install it on, dont select the files partition Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/23450-osx-reinstall-on-a-real-mac/#findComment-155930 Share on other sites
