We all know that Intel onboard gma900 and gma950 are the best option for the ones that want full video support without spending much money, they work, but they don't perform as good as we would want at games. I was looking around choosing which will be my next mobo and found that newest intel's chipsets come with GMA3000, that numeric jump and the new OSes video requirements made me think that this could be the solution for me. has anyone succeed to get it working on a hackingtosh? QE/CI? patching needed? does it performs good?

Yeah its out. With a GMA3000.

The 946GZ chipset also includes an IGP likewise dubbed the GMA 3000. However, since the 946G is simply a 90nm die shrink of the 945G, its GMA 3000 is only an overclocked GMA950 to 667MHz.

I'm thinking it should work, the device ID might be different, but I'm not sure.
