Conroe Hackintosh?

I plan on building a Conroe mac desktop. However, there's very little info on motherboard compatibilities (because Conroe isn't out, and few compatible motherboards are currently in use.) I know I can't be the only one interested in building this machine. Who out there is planning to build one and what do they plan on using?

No one out there wants to build a Conroe dual boot? I suppose the major problem is that the motherboards are mostly untested. Does anyone have a Conroe compatible board running OSX or a board that is very similar?

I was looking at this board:

~$150

Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 Socket T (LGA 775) Intel P965 Express

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16813128012

or this board,

~$150

Abit AB9 PRO LGA775/ P965/ DDR2/ A&L/ ATX/ RoHS Motherboard

http://www.ewiz.com/detail.php?name=MB-AB9-PRO

but I'm guessing the Bad Axe is more likely to be compatible,

~$260

Intel 975XBX Rev. 304 (previous revisions not completely compatible without modification)

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16813121016

The way I see it, perhaps someone out there has a 975 board they are using that works that would be a good board to use for a Conroe build. However, it would have to be Conroe compatible or revised to retrofit Conroe to be useable.

On the other hand, it would be easier to buy a cheaper 965 board if compatibility is completely unknown at this point.

What board is most likely to be compatible?

I'm waiting for the new desktop macs come out, I'll follow their lead... HOPEFULLY SOME DECENT ATI DRIVERS TOO.....

good thing about the intel boards is that they'll probbly work 100%, bad coz they cannot overclock, at all. bit pricey too IMO.
