Patch to modify USB product ID

Thanks for the tip, I'm giving this a try https://gist.github.com/stefanocoding/923931ae84333e2db7d60aafbb5a4f7b edit: I think usb_modeswitch is for those 3G modems that can either be the modem or a storage device i.e. with the driver software usually on it. Says here "The program does not change the product ID. That's entirely up to the device. " http://www.draisberghof.de/usb_modeswitch/bb/viewtopic.php?t=97
  2. I would like a patch to modify the USB device product ID for: ScanSnap S1500: Product ID: 0x11a2 Vendor ID: 0x04c5 (Fujitsu Ltd.) To become: ScanSnap iX500: Product ID: 0x132b Vendor ID: 0x04c5 (Fujitsu Ltd.) So I can try to use the new 64bit drivers that don't support the older S1500's device ID. More info on the problem in the comments here

No boot drives displayed with ApfsDriverLoader-64.efi r4658

A user on the other forum told me I needed PartitionDxe-64.efi which fixed the problem of drives not appearing. Perhaps the driver detail text box in clover could be updated to state it's a requirement for standard installs, right now it says the opposite.

No boot drives displayed with ApfsDriverLoader-64.efi r4658

Sorry I've been unable to find out how to do that. If you wouldn't mind telling me I'll try to get the first wiki page to be on that.
  5. Hi I was hoping someone could help me debug this problem with no boot drives appearing in Clover. My install was working fine until one day I rebooted and no drives appeared. Using my old USB worked fine. I can workaround the issue by replacing ApfsDriverLoader-64.efi with the real apfs.efi which makes me think that the loader is not finding it automatically on my disk at /usr/standalone/i386/apfs.efi like it is supposed to. How can I debug to find out why it is not finding it? Am I right in saying there is no boot log if it didn't boot? Macintosh HD EFI Partition (on disk6 below) that shows no drives at boot running r4658: AppleImageCodec-64.efi FSInject-64.efi AppleKeyAggregator-64.efi FirmwareVolume-64.efi AppleUITheme-64.efi SMCHelper-64.efi AptioInputFix-64.efi VBoxHfs-64.efi AptioMemoryFix-64.efi ApfsDriverLoader-64.efi DataHubDxe-64.efi Replacing ApfsDriverLoader-64.efi with /usr/standalone/i386/apfs.efi does make it work and drives are displayed. I'm not using FileVault and deleting AppleKeyAggregator-64.efi had no effect. Clover General discussion

Sorry I didn't realise you meant another .efi file for some reason I thought you were talking about KeyChain oops. Anyway I realise now you meant the AppleKeyAggregator.efi appearing in my file listing and deleting still doesn't fix the problem (of no drives appearing). I will post a thread about this to discuss further and edit this post to include the link. Btw I tried to help by adding entries for all of these new .efi files to the Clover wiki page on them but sadly the Google login is broken. edit: link to seperate topic on my issue

Tracing back the AMD GPU wakeup issue to its origin

Thanks, I have the SSDT-HDEF-HDAS-1.aml generated by toleda's audio_CloverHDMI, is that the SSDT you are referring to? I'm unfamiliar with ATIInject and is undocumented so bit aprehensive about trying that, will wait to hear your reply about the SSDT.

Tracing back the AMD GPU wakeup issue to its origin

On XFX R9 280X 10.12.6 Clover r439. Checked RadeonDeinit in Clover Configurator and deleted WhateverGreen from Kexts/Other. Graphics working but have lost Display Port audio.

NVME not detected in High sierra

I heard High Sierra brings OOB support for NVME SSDs, i.e. no kexts required. However I was wondering is Clover able to boot off an NVME? Can't find the answer anywhere, thanks.
