klapi
Hi, So... I'm kind of lost in all these new versions of Mactel x86... Last time i checked I used 10.4.3 patched with maxxuss patches, but had to format, now I can't find the patches for the 10.4.3, so I thought... Ok, I'll try downloading the JaS image (10.4.4 i think?) but it just keep spinning and spinning, never reaching the install dialog upon boot Now I hear it's 10.4.7, so my question is... How do I get going? Which image should be used? And what patches are there (maxxuss is down perm. it seems?) Thanks in advance - Klapi Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/20996-ive-been-out-for-a-while-help-me-get-back-in-the-game-p/ Share on other sites
adurbe
my current install is a 10.4.3 patched up to 10.4.6 on the cd (available from the -right places) from there I disabled beamsync and enabled my graphics card I then updated to 10.4.7. Without major flaws as it stands Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/20996-ive-been-out-for-a-while-help-me-get-back-in-the-game-p/#findComment-139005 Share on other sites
bwhsh8r
You can use the patched 10.5.7 dvd only if you have an intel cpu because they removed generic cpu power management and there is alot of good guides on how to do it at the wiki. good luck bwhsh8r Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/20996-ive-been-out-for-a-while-help-me-get-back-in-the-game-p/#findComment-139845 Share on other sites
