I have no idea what you're talking about, but I presume you want to boot in normal mode (as opposed to verbose - that is with message text), open com.apple.Boot.plist and see if you have

<key>Kernel Flags</key>
<string>-v</string>

If so, delete "-v", save the plist, reboot.

I cannot save it it says it cannot save, then asks me to overwrite, I click yes, but then it sys it cannot overwrite.

 

Try typing sudo before the command. This will prompt you to enter your admin password and will give you the permissions necessary to overwrite the file.
