belgrano Posted June 26, 2006 Share Posted June 26, 2006 I have no idea what you're talking about, but I presume you want to boot in normal mode (as opposed to verbose - that is with message text), open com.apple.Boot.plist and see if you have <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string>-v</string> If so, delete "-v", save the plist, reboot. Once you're done with the edit, replace the original file with the copy from your desktop. Try typing sudo before the command. This will prompt you to enter your admin password and will give you the permissions necessary to overwrite the file.
