farukp
Hi. Can some just in short explain to me how I can backup / clone my now working 10.6.2 and make it bootable? I would clone it to a different drive. Does the drive have to be connected through SATA or can it also be a USB drive? Thank you Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/204971-clone-snow-leopard/ Share on other sites

But how do I make it bootable? thanks again! check option to delete all from destination disk that is not on source disk and it should automatically be bootable. will show a green button and state 'disk will be bootable!' mschilling
Easy way has been to restore your hard drive to another one using disk utility, and then install chameleon onto the new partition. Voldemort
When I Clone a Snow Leopard, I use Super Dupper, and for make it bootable, Only Install Chameleon PKG on the clonned disk. If case of a Retail Installation, put your Kexts on /Extra/Extenions.
