I have Ubuntu 9.10 x64 and Snow Leopard x64 installed (and Fedora x32 in a virtual machine). Anyway, good luck with this!! junoir Posted November 30, 2009 Share Posted November 30, 2009 BSD driver link please well, after some searches on the net, If found this http://forums.pcbsd.org/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=10936 about the x3100 gma, which is very simmilar to the x4500, where it says that xfree86 video i810 supports the g45/q45 chipset. i'm uncertain about the download page; i've found this http://www.freebsdsoftware.org/x11-drivers...ideo-intel.html but it doesn't point to a download link, so i'm now officially stuck . the x.org has the i810 is on the ftp(ftp://ftp.x.org/pub/individual/driver) but i'm afraid that's for linux, not bsd. Guest barrick Posted November 30, 2009 Share Posted November 30, 2009 I know that there is some FB drivers floating around and all that some people have edited to work with the 4500 for native res and all but i made my own editing probably the same stuff a while back.. they myn is probably not any better but ill post them anyway for anyone who needs it here in a lil bit when i get home. For Laptop users , sorry people , but i think the problem between the X4500 HD and OSX86 for at least this year this will not be solved.
