John the Geek
Per this post, Q has gotten to ACPI before Parallels, making it the ONLY Intel Mac OS X VM capable of running Vista. Parallels has already announced that Vista support won't be in version 2 at all, but slated for v.3. And Q is still free. More info here. Get it here. John the Geek
Update: Vista is installing in VM. I'm going to upload screenshots to Flickr soon. Notes: - Make sure you give it enough hard drive space. 4GB was not enough for the default install. It wants about 6.5 GB. I gave it 12 GB so I had room to grow. =) EDIT: Flickr Away!!! EDIT 2: I see that Q still has not finished their Virtualization module. As this thing has taken 4 hours to install. Still, Vista looks nice. Ripped right from OS X's aqua interface. I'd expect no less of MS.

sportman
well i think qemu is very promising, it seems to run beter then parallels on my celeron-d but on my amd64 parallels out performs. Quite interesting actually. I am currently doing research on trying to get CS 1.6 going in a VM. Wish me luck.
