Basilisk II is an opensource mac ppc emulator that can run macos 6.5-8.1 at very good speeds and is rather stable. Now with all the problems we have running older software, is is posible to port over basilisk ii to the x86 platform and use that like the classic mode? Bodnar Posted September 8, 2005 Share Posted September 8, 2005 PearPC doesn't do the Openfirmware dealy, so it can't run pre OSX yet. Basilisk won't compile, nor run from binaries either.
