Goron
Still the same, system-type is not visible in ioreg with SystemType in com.apple.Boot.plist. I was going to reply about this in your thread but things keep me busy. Can´t post there either but: Rev. 1.10 works -kind of- flawless for GPU temp, NB Temp, System Fan, Fan1 and Fan2 ... Though i got Q9550 quadcore cpu i only get 2 temps for cpu, not sure if it only reads the dies ... but: i´ve got 4 Fans in my system. Fan4 isn´t seen at all, but Fan3 is seen and correctly read about every 3rd or 4th reboot ... don´t know how to judge this ... btw. atm i´ve reverted to Leopard and don´t use Snow anymore for several reasons. Awaiting rev. 1.40 for Leopard Cheers Goron
FKA
I just been informed that we need to get passed a Quiz (New Users Discussion) before we can be able to participate with the "elite" community there. It clear to me that I'm not worthy enough to join such community. LOL. (Except the Quiz, this is just a joke in case somebody without sense of humor read this post.) LOL - I best start swatting up ! mitch_de
But beside that getting write rights fun, that projectX Forum is working on an new stuff for NVIDIA users , i found in that FAKESMC discussion ! Tool to look after (and change) gpu/vram clk was ported there. http://www.projectosx.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=1246 Here i can now see my 8800GTX does powermanagemet (more clk on OpenGL load) right. First part is idle (2D, less OpenGL load) second much load on 8800GTX. Before that util nvclock i cant see if my gpu powermanagement worked - now i know it bash-3.2#nvclock -i -- General info -- Card: nVidia Geforce 8800GTX Architecture: NV50/G80 A2 PCI id: 0x191 GPU clock: 256.500 MHz Bustype: PCI -- Shader info -- Clock: 675.000 MHz Stream units: 128 (11111111b) ROP units: 24 (111111b) -- Memory info -- Amount: 0 MB Type: 384 bit DDR2 Clock: 396.000 MHz -- Sensor info -- Sensor: Analog Devices ADT7473 Board temperature: 44C GPU temperature: 56C Fanspeed: 1449 RPM Fanspeed mode: manual PWM duty cycle: 60.0% nvclock -i -- General info -- Card: nVidia Geforce 8800GTX Architecture: NV50/G80 A2 PCI id: 0x191 GPU clock: 567.000 MHz Bustype: PCI -- Shader info -- Clock: 1350.000 MHz Stream units: 128 (11111111b) ROP units: 24 (111111b) -- Memory info -- Amount: 0 MB Type: 384 bit DDR2 Clock: 899.996 MHz -- Sensor info -- Sensor: Analog Devices ADT7473 Board temperature: 44C GPU temperature: 58C Fanspeed: 1430 RPM Fanspeed mode: manual PWM duty cycle: 60.0%
