vsunlimited Posted May 24, 2006 Share Posted May 24, 2006 I can't figure it out how to deal with it when we have two OS. WinXP changes the BIOS' clock to the same as your time zone. But OSX changes the BIOS' clock to GMT time. How to make it work together ? That would cause it to be change to GMT every time... in case you don't know what I'm talking about .... vsunlimited Posted May 24, 2006 Author Share Posted May 24, 2006 sorry for my bad English. again, my problem is when I set OSX TimeZone to Thailand GMT+7. so OSX change the BIOS to my localtime -7 , or GMT. so when I switch to WinXP it read the time from BIOS. belgrano Posted May 29, 2006 Share Posted May 29, 2006 Unfortunately although windoze do syncronize with internet servers on reboot, it seems that after 3.4 hours of running it returns to its default way of showing the time (that is 3 hours behind OS X...) and a manual setting is needed. Well, back to my TimeSync until a viable solution is found... I ended up have to set my mac clock manually.
