Just got my own OSx86 hardware for my birthday. (500MHz P3 won't do) According to the wiki, it should be fully compatible. It is an Asus P4P800-E Deluxe, and a P4 2.8 GHz socket 470. Also there's 512mb dual channel DDR 400MHz Corsair RAM.

I should be cruising once I build it! ;) (Finally finished a torrent download of 10.4.5 after a whole month)

yep p4p-800e is fully supported now that the marvell driver is out (thank you m. musashi ).

Sounds like a nice little system for OS X x86. I'm planning on buying an Intel system (even though I'm a harsh AMD fan) once the EFIx86Project comes up with a way to flash Apple's EFI onto our Intel EFI boards. Just a note, I've found disabling hyperthreading in the BIOS to make noticable speed improvements.

This system doesnt have HT.

I have been using OS X as my main OS now. It even boots faster than XP (8 seconds of grey apple logo) and in general is more responsive. I have started developing my website on it instead now also, using TextWrangler (very nice proggy btw).

Everything works (all hardware, software, etc) except DVD Player. Not sure what's going on there. DVD drive is still working...
