Can anyone post his/her DSDT.dsl file so that I can compare if there are similarities? PS: anyone experiencing slow USB issues? I can only have USB 1.0 speeds..... Run this installation, Mount the 10.6 dmg and run /Mac Osx Install Disc/System/Installation Packages/Osinstall.mpkg.... All vanilla but these kext replaced. I not use /Extra/Extensions folder... I also have an EliteBook 8530w and I am successful @ installing iDeneb 1.5.6 but my graphics are not too great. I can only be at 1024x768. When I try to run photobooth, the app tells me that my video adapter is not supported. I know it must be due to some weird kext missing or something. Please advice. nightalon Posted December 18, 2010 Share Posted December 18, 2010 If you guys want to tackle the BIOS, EzH2O is the tool you'll need. It's for InsydeH2O BIOSes. I believe there's also now a hacked BIOS available at the mydigitallife forums. What I really want is one for the 8540w, since I'd prefer a Core i7 system, and I can't get the 8530s refurbished anymore. BCM4321, AR5008 tested. -------- Final solution is remove HP whitelist. send photo later.
