Basically my Iatoks 5i install isn't picking up my SATA hard drive and I think I could fix this in the bios by enabling AHCI and changing from S3 to S1 but the problem is no matter what key combination I try I can access the bios. Its not a very well known brand. Its an E-system ( not Ei system. JUST E-System ) laptop running Phoenix Bios 1.13 and Ive searched the net for 4 days straight without finding a solution. If you know of a version of OSx86 that would congifure my bios for me that would be brilliant or even if you could figure out how I access my bios. ANY form of help is greatly appreciated

I dont beleive there is any installation that can configure the Bios for you. Have you tried all the usual steps to enter bios ie? DEL,F1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12, ESC, Hold down Home key? Those are the normal ones. Otherwise you could try pulling a stick of RAM out and booting it up which may cause it to halt because of the change in memory size which may enable you to get into bios.

Bit of a long winded way for doing it....

 

try installing onto an external usb, once you're up and running, clone it then install chameleon and then fdisk it

 

 

This is assuming you can get into the bios to enable boot off a USB device
