Hiro_ Posted May 1, 2006 Share Posted May 1, 2006 Yeah, guys i still not geted sound on my system, i believe than this already possible, but still i no found nothing than works with me, and I would like of the help of you, for i can get sound on my machine. My sound is: Realtek AC97 Sound, onBoard ACL650 and the chipset of the my mobo is an SIS 661FML. So guys, i wait than we can resolve this problem, and helping several people around of the world. Takuro Posted May 1, 2006 Share Posted May 1, 2006 If you have the AppleAC97Audio kext, you should be getting sound with that particular card. Are you using an installation off the Maxxuss or the Myzar DVD? UPDATE: Guys i by this off-board sound it is of the Clone 5.1 com Chipset C-Media 8738, i can have hopes than my sound, now works? I've got a motheboard msi 648 max based on sis 648 chipset, windows shows sound as "Avance AC'97", they say it's "Realtek ALC650 chip". Mac can't see any sound card. Hiro_ Posted May 2, 2006 Author Share Posted May 2, 2006 Yeah, guy i gave up of the sound AC97 works with SIS chipset, and i'm the several months behind of the an solution, and nothing, i would suggest for you it buy an off-board (PCI or USB), sound card, supported for this OS X, therefore was this than i did.
