WiZMaC Posted April 23, 2006 Share Posted April 23, 2006 I used JaS's 10.4.6 DVD and the system was ready in 8 minutes- No Problems Whatsoever!!! The only other thing I had to do was install the Universal Binary for FLASH which is available on macromedia's website. Specifically coded for Osx Intels. myzar Posted April 23, 2006 Share Posted April 23, 2006 Personally i would say if you are on intel and don't have any iso or you are reinstalling from scratch go with Jas disk, he has two intel boxes so he can find the best kext mix for that hardware and he did a very good work customizing my 10.4.5 disk for 10.4.6. His iso with ppf1 works on amd he's using a mix of Semjza Amd decrypted files and the new frameworks i've cracked for amd but there's a problem with file permissions they are fubared and even diskutility fails to fix them prolly because they are wrong on diskutil itself Avoid the iso without ppf1 if you are on amd.
