Gato_shin
Ya know, when I use 10.4.1 install DVD, it stops booting saying "Still waiting for root device". After went to 10.4.5 install DVD (Maybe this is a prepatched one?), no more "Still waiting for root devide" but have some other unkown problems. Then your 10.4.6, everything back to 10.4.1, the "Still waiting for root device" is back......... I just wanna know: Is your iso a prepatched one? If not, will you release a prepatched one later? Notice: I havn't even get into install GUI yet, NEVER! TheG2
Make sure you install the custom packages under "Customize Install" in the installation part. If you don't, I don't think the patches get installed automatically.. I'm running 10.4.6 right now.. With this problem, I can't even get into the install GUI, how can I select any custom packages? If only I can, do you think I'd be so stupid to bother everybody to help thinking about this problem? rogabean
From what I know of this ISO, it is prepatched and was tested on Intel and AMD systems. I would recommend logging into the IRC channel for a quicker response as to the trouble you are having. JaS
Ok guys I have just released a ppf for this iso to add ATI ATA support. The new ppf also removes the need for running the amd enabler after the install as it was causing some issues. And some have reported a b0 error so I have fixed that for those users. So if you fit these groups get the new ppf and apply it to the iso before you install you can find it in the ususal places JaS.10.4.6.Install.Dvd.PPF1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/15429-jas-need-help-from-yourself-about-your-1046-iso/#findComment-99651 Share on other sites
