tehsusenoh
Make Windows active, then use EasyBCD 2.0 BETA (search for it). Make sure you use the MBR option, not the EFI option. smeltn
I just installed OSX last night. Had full Vista partition.. Created a 20gig for OSX. Booting in and everything just fine.. Now when I try to get back to Vista, it won't boot up. Do I need to follow the steps the OP posted in order to get back into Vista? Then use the EasyBCD to see both? Or should I use like bootloader or something in my OSX? GFOnyX
Someone should really write a Win7/OS X dual boot guide and make it sticky. muitommy
Installing the OSX will active the partition itself, so your vista won't boot. If you just have your vista bootloader active but still can't boot, put in the vista dvd and run the automated fix boot option. (repair computers) after all, u could use chain0 method and find your OSX partition, year by year, i think this is still the best and the easiest for me!
