I thought DVDshrink is not open source and has gone commercial and became Nero Recode. Nero could be interested in doing a OSX port of their burner program though. However, with newer Nero releases, there are more and more DRM in the program and I don't think they will be interested in doing a DVDshrink type of program.

The linux version is a bash front end and may not be the same as the Windows version:

Would running DVD Shrink using Darwine be an option? Has anyone done this? I'm not really familiar with Darwine or it's usage, although now that I look, there seems to be a nice tutorial in the Wiki.

EDIT: Ok, I just tried installing DVD Shink with Darwine. I get errors when I try to run it though.

wine: Unhandled page fault on read access to 0xffffffff at address 0x90823daa (thread 0009), starting debugger...

Followed directions for Darwine installation here: http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?sh...512entry64512

Then used mIRC install instructions here: http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/Darwine_tutorial

Anyone know what this means?
