  1. iPhone Monday?!?

Oh Oh, may be the LG KE850 is the generic version of the iPhone and we can start a forum/subforum on hacking the KE850/iPhone. Let's see, how does Hack-i-phone sound ?
  2. Thanks, pulling in at 381KB/s. The Windows version is about half the size.
  3. Apple Market share still falling!

I guessed nobody wants to read the data. It is actually 3.71% and not 4.33% by the end of August. The data suggests a far greater drop than reported. http://marketshare.hitslink.com/report.aspx?qprid=5
  4. Acronis OS Selector Is RETARDED

http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...&hl=spfdisk IMHO, SPFdisk works better but obviously not as pretty
  5. ZOMG Zune!

It will be made by Toshiba and there will be a Zune Marketplace similar to Apple's iTunes music library: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/5347112.stm One thing about MS is that they may not be the first but eventually they will get it right and good enough and popular and at the right price points (see DOS, Windows, Xbox).
  6. Have you actually read the article? : The fact is that you could now get a Core Duo or even a Core 2 Duo laptop with ATI or Nvdia graphics for $800 to $1400 that will exceed the power of the MacBook Pro he bought in May... but that won't be a fair comparison either.
  7. How To Access FLOPPY!

There is a driver which probably doesn't work: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...1&hl=floppy
  8. The HCL is your friend: MiniPCI 802.11b/g 4311 Broadcom Needs device ID added to plist. Detected as Airport Extreme No Yes, you do need to edit the plist so technically it is not "right out of the box".
  9. Installing grub without linux

If you are just looking for a free boot loader that is compatible, why not try: Free Partition Manager - SPFDisk, SPFdisk is a free dos-based partition manager I find it to be more compatible than Acronis (which is not free).
  10. I am not sure what an asshat is but the article started out quite even handed: If you are interested in an ancient post about Spotlight problems (indexing forever and no safe way of interrupting the process) please see this: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...tlight+problem#
  11. Benchmark comparisons between XP and OSX?

Cinebench is probably the best cross platform graphics benchmark. Here is a sample comparison: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?s=&...ost&p=68311
  12. Acronis not fully OSX compatible, try the beta version of SPFdisk here for free: http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?sh...&hl=spfdisk http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?sh...;p=128410
  13. Core Chip on 945 Motherboard?

    Not supported: http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?showtopic=21926#
  14. How to mount a USb Flash Drive?

VIA USB chipset is always problematic on OSX, try using the 10.4.3 kext: http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?sh...2063&hl=via
  15. Windows and Acronis

Boot AOS (Acronis) recovery disk (created earlier or on another PC) and uninstall/inactivate AOS. Install SPFdisk instead : http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?sh...&hl=spfdisk Search function is under the Forum drop down menu (Black box button) on OSX Project page: http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?act=Search&f=
