binary
Open up System Prefs: Keyboard & Mouse -> Keyboard Tab -> Modifier Keys Button -> Switch Control with Command, and Command with Control in the dropdown boxes. All Done. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/1377-how-can-i-configure-to-use-ctrl-as-command-key/#findComment-9263 Share on other sites

All Done. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> OSX treats the alt key for Command. Command is used for things like cut, copy, paste, etc in OSX. The control key still has function in OSX, just not nearly as much as the control key. cyrana
Its even simpler to just use al-v and alt-c. LOL Granted people get used to one thing or the other, though. blahsucks
Command in OSX basically = Control in Windows. The Alt key is actually closer in position on PC keyboards to the Command key on Mac keyboards, though; for Mac people, it's the same finger stretch. And the Mac Ctrl key is used for right-clicks on those one-button mice (ctrl-click).
