How to Add your EFI string to you com.apple.boot.plist

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

I've gotten a good amount of requests on how to add their hex string to the com.apple.boot.plist so i decided to make a video tutorial explaining it (No sound).

Updated video includes annotations and is available in HD.

Here's the link"

Hope it helps anyone it can

That was helpful, but if you're aiming at a learning crowd, it's very fast. (I know it's only 3 steps or so, but I had to pause to see what utility you were using, which option you chose inside OSX86 Tools, etc.)

This is a bout GFX cards

I have the same one as you i assume you have used the EFI string to install your card as have i but is it working with DVI? because mine only works with VGA and i would prefure to use DVI.

Thanks Ollie

umm how much can I say without getting Banned?

"Great Video"

"Not for people with perseverance"

"There's a lot of things that you could be doing right now"

"Extremely Complicated"

How do I download something again?

Honestly it is not that help isn't appreciated but this could of been done by telling them to go to http://www.######.com/osx86tools/ and reading the support page.
