rohde
Heh I wondered about the excactly same thing when I unpackaged my iPod Nano. Seriously, the Nano! The stickers are twice the size of the Nano. Anyway, I reckon they hope we will put it on our backpacks, cars, briefcases etc. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/13027-silly-question/#findComment-82716 Share on other sites

ampTK
As far as I know they include stickers on all hardware products (from PCs to iPods). And is not a new thing, they have been doing this since I can remember. A Nonny Moose
I got two $400 stickers from Apple one day along with a G3 iBook. Now if you can find some of the old rainbow Apple stickers, that would be a score. Urbz
Simple: branding. Apple, thanks to the iPod, has become a brand. The stickers represent the brand: that's why all Apple stores simply have their logo and no name: they're representing a company with that logo, and this has become a symbol of what it means to own an apple-branded product: great asthetics being the driving force of the brand, along with simplicity and practicality. bluedragon1971
I have one on the back window of my Jeep, and another I made into a magnet by sticking it to one of those thin plastic fridge magnets from a pizza place. I currently have it on the side of my OSx86 machine. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/13027-silly-question/#findComment-84227 Share on other sites
