I was so impressed with osx86 that I recently wiped my windows partition and am now running os x 100% ... and I WILL definitely purchase a mac down the road thanks to getting the chance to "toy with it" on the PC side. I'm trying to decide whether to go with an iMac or save a few months longer and get a Mac Pro ?

So two mac because of osx86 ? so mister job not a good thing osx86 ? ... humm

But always wanted to have a full 100 % working (and perfect) pc hardware in order to run osx86 10.4.x working perfectly.

and efi hack to ...

I'm coming from the other direction. I've been running OS X since 10.0.0, first on a Umax S900 which is a PowerMac 9500 clone. Then I got a used B&W G3 on eBay, bought a 500 Mhz G4 CPU upgrade for it and currently have 10.4.7 on it.

Now that I can run OS X on my PCs, I have no use for "real" Macs any longer. I have 10.4.6 running on this box - ASUS P4C800-E Deluxe with 3.0 Ghz P4, 1 GB RAM and ATI X800 Radeon 256 MB video card. It's also on my ThinkPad T41. Runs great there, and that has become my main "Mac" - complete with wireless NIC.

HOWEVER, now that Vista is done and reached the RC stage, it's become a *very* nice OS! It flies on this ASUS box! Yes, Beta 2 sucked donkey balls, but if you haven't tried it since then, you will be amazed at the improvements! I'm typing on it right now, and it's more fun/better looking than OS X.
