BigPimpin Posted September 20, 2008 Share Posted September 20, 2008 This has been going on for months. The last few days it has gotten so bad I usually don't even bother after a few minutes. My browser connects, the page loads part way and then stops. Waiting... waiting... waiting... Sometimes I have to reload a page 15 or 20 times before it will load completely. I wait 5 or 10 seconds in between tries so I don't flood the connections, and that only makes it take longer. Several times I have a reply in a topic and by the time the screen comes up I have forgotten what it was I wanted to say. This is the only website or forum site where it happens. I connect to many others every day with no problem, both in the US, Europe and the UK. It happens whether I am using Firefox, Safari or Internet Explorer. It happens whether I am using Windows, OSX, or Linux. Please fix it. The underlying problem has been ongoing for MONTHS. I deal with it, usually, but as I said above, it's gotten so bad that the last few days that the forums might as well be down completely. Now I will have to press "Post New Topic" at least a dozen time before this message posts. EDIT: The post actually went through the first time I submitted it, but the page never finished loading. The progress bar went half-way and stopped. Waiting... waiting... waiting... I had to back out and re-load the main forum page to recover. I've had no problems at all loading pages on this site, recently or otherwise. Only complaint I have is the occasional Database Error and what not. It happens on different PC's and OS's. Sometimes it just takes ages to load, other times it's just somewhat slower then other sites. But insanelymac is always slower to me then most other sites.
