Hi,

 

I decided to go to the kabbykernel after having some clock issues with the vanilla one and since I did my system seems to hang at the last part of the loading screen, near where it says loading login window or something, takes about 5 mins to then move on to loading my Desktop. It never did the this before.

 

Would anyone have any ideas of what would be causing this?

I don't have a IDE to SATA adapter so i copied iATKOS dvd to my usb stick partitioned hfs+ with mac drive and i used BOOT-132 cd to boot from it. I also used modbinkernel, toh, kabylkernel with options -v -x -f

 

Specs are:

p5qpro

intel c2d e7200

2gigs RAM

 

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I had great CPU themperature problems, it goes very high in a while.

So did you resolve this problem? Anyone with a P5Q (and E8400) can tell me something about this?
