non sequitur Posted March 14, 2006 Share Posted March 14, 2006 well, from what i hear, vista isnt going to support win32 coded programs. if everything must be recoded to .NET, which is what they want everyone to use now, then i think osx would have a head start in the revolution coming from the new Operating Systems. Think of it like how the PS2 came out before xbox, and had a larger control over the market. OSX could start gaining in the market. am i incorrect, or am i on to something here? This is due to changes in the API in Vista, but by the time it's released developers will have had plenty of time to update their applications.
