It does a hardware check and stops you using it, same with shake

 

Runs fine here, you need to edit the plist, remove the agp key and reduce g4 to g3 in one of the strings. Oddly it does not run now when I installed an extra gig of ram. Worked fine when I had 1 gig.

Hi.. did you install it without any hardware warning???

 

I couldn't install FCP....

 

How did you instal FCP?

Got it to work!! Final Cut Pro 4.0 is working on my Dell Dimension 4700!!!!

Well at least its running..havnt gotten into and specifics yet, but it does load!!

What I did: I went to this link and followed the instructions..

Now its timwe to get DVD Studio Pro Working...can install and start to run...but it crashes

yeah, it loads... but that's about it. it's not really stable. when you try to capture it just shuts down.

i have an hp zd7000. everything else is flawless except for the video card. stuck on vga mode. creative suite 2 is flawless though. can't complain. a better video resolution would be better.
