babyjenniferLB
Hiya everyone, i was wondering if it is posible to use a apple remote that you can buy with a ir port(usb,on board) to use with front row, is there any drivers. im running 10.4.3 upgradeing to 10.4.5 or 10.4.4 soon depending on stability of 10.4.5. Frontrow would be much better with a apple remote. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/11874-apple-remote/ Share on other sites

Riffer
You could actucally. the AppleIRController.kext relly just supports an IRDA device but it can be configured to take advantage of an onborad IRDA (in case of a notebook) or and external usb one. Could you tell me how can I configure this one on OSX? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/11874-apple-remote/#findComment-75151 Share on other sites

munky
Riffer: what makes you think the onboard IR device is IrDA? what makes you think AppleIRController.kext can be modified so easily?
