zurie Posted July 31, 2008 Share Posted July 31, 2008 try installing kalyway and under the Kernel tab select kalybaby nforce 9.2 kernel it may just be called "nforce kernel 9.2" or something "nforce". deselect the other kernels. also, do you know what chipset you are using? post let me know if that works. Abit abit n73v = Chipset Type NVIDIA GeForce 7050 / nForce 610i that means "vanilla kernel" will not work and will endlessly reboot. you need a "NVIDIA" specific chipset kernel. zurie Posted August 1, 2008 Share Posted August 1, 2008 when the mac wants to boot up press F8 at the command prompt countdown. then at the prompt try booting with " -v" tell us what it says before it reboots.
