MacSimizeDenver
SnapzPro X works great under Jas 10.4.6 I imported older files from my PPC-Partition into my new Intel 10.4.6 and Snapz works properly. Only bad thing is that you don't have sound on captured videos. I think it has to do something with the recognition of avaible sound sources under JaS 10.4.6 Maybe you now that it's impossible in the finder to change the sound volume nor the Apple Pro Keyboard sound levels work correctly. So, i think it has to do with each other. I'm not sure But i done a hack to have sound. I just put a line from my sound-out direct to the PC's sound-in jack (so snapz would think a microphone is connected) and i had sound in the captured video later on. Not the best solution but it works. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/11713-any-screen-capture-software/#findComment-145717 Share on other sites
sandmanfvrga
There is a program under Utilities. I can't remember the name, but it comes with OSX. I think it was "grab" or something. It IS there, look for it. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/11713-any-screen-capture-software/#findComment-146244 Share on other sites
belgrano
Only that Grab can't record video from screen, as xiberia requested... Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/11713-any-screen-capture-software/#findComment-146274 Share on other sites
sandmanfvrga
AH ok. Gotcha. Kind of like print screen vs SnagIt. I use screen grab for general stuff, so Grab/Print Screen (windows) is fine. willgonz
It's built in. (command-shift-4) and it lets you choose an area to capture. (command-shift-3)Takes the whole screen. Do (apple-option-control-8) It will invert your colors. Handy for some websites. Visual enhancement.
