DA_SONG_MAN
Only prob is that if you want to format a partition to hfs+ you can't and are forced to either format the whole hard drive or use an alternative method.

thrasherlife
Oh and by the way, it works under Windows Server 2008 too! how did you get it to install on server 2008? When I run the installer on Server 2008 x64 I get the message: "MacDrive 7 Requires Windows Vista, Windows Vista 64-bit, Windows XP (Service Pack 2 or later), or Windows Server 2003 (Service Pack 1 or later)." RGabo
how did you get it to install on server 2008? You can get the installer to skip these install conditions. First, extract the exe using WinRAR, navigate under the x64 directory and launch the installer from the command line like this: msiexec /i MacDrive7.x64.en-US.msi IGNORE_LAUNCH_CONDITIONS=1 I have yet to see if it does eventually work

centaur
I just got it to install on Windows Server 2008. Using WinRAR, right click on the Setup.exe file and select "Open with WinRAR." There might be a similar option if you're a WinZip user. Extract the contents and navigate to that directory. There are .msi installer files located in \Setup\MacDrive\x86.en-US and \Setup\MacDrive\x64.en-US. Choose whichever is appropriate for your system architecture. RGabo's command "msiexec /i MacDrive7.x64.en-US.msi IGNORE_LAUNCH_CONDITIONS=1" might work, but I used Microsoft's Orca .msi editor instead since I'm familiar with it. I'd suggest trying out the command line option first since it's faster, but if you want to give Orca a shot, delete the two entries under the LaunchCondition section. Hit the save button, and install should now work.
