DB1
digitallysick - Checkout this forum for MSI Wind / Advent 4211 (it's clone) http://forums.msiwind.net/ there's no solution just yet for the wifi other than swapping out - Broadcom 1390 & 1490 work great and are relatively cheap. Some have replaced with "n" enabled cards. FYI Leopard runs great on the Advent 4211 & Wind. Only things not working: Wifi - but thats easy to sort with the swapout Mic & Headphone dont work - some have used a bluetooth solution Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/113888-msi-wind-wifi/#findComment-859165 Share on other sites
MapaX
I am planning about buying the Wind. Is there any means to compile the Linux Wifi drivers to OSX86? The drivers are available now for Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/l...eta/+bug/246141 It would optimal solution if the original Wifi card could be supported. mr sonofjobs
Anyone tried this driver with the wind? http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downlo...;Downloads=true Either this one: ftp://66.104.77.130/cn/wlan/87_Mac10.4_v1309.zip or this one: ftp://210.51.181.211/cn/wlan/87B_Mac10.4_v1117.zip It would be very interesting to see if it gets the built in card to work. Could someone try it? /Klaus Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/113888-msi-wind-wifi/#findComment-907367 Share on other sites
