macfan45
Greetings, I love the new features of leopard, but I hate the GUI. It is so awful that I was wondering if I could change the window buttons of finder so that they appear as though they are from Tiger. I have been looking around myself, but I cannot navigate the files well enough to determine if the buttons are a png or if they cannot be changed. While I am at it, is there any way I can get the menu bar back to the tiger gradient menu bar? Thanks in advance.

Suzie's Soliloquy
The "Window Buttons" have been pretty much Identical since the first release of OS X...
macfan45
I apologize for not being clearer. And again, if I could get the menu bar back to the gradient, tiger like menu bar that would be greatly appreciated.

~pcwiz
** BumP ** Er...there is no difference between the two sets that I can see other than a more intense gradient on the Tiger ones.
jivhg
It is is the SArtfile.bin I think they made a way to change that. You just need the Tiger images. I saw a topic about it on the macthemes2.net forums.
macfan45
Thanks for that tip The Jiv. I will check that out later. Fortunately I have access to a Tiger machine.
macfan45
Hey, To my surprise, I came across this program called iLeopard 2 that modifies the SArtFile to give it a "more iTunes 7 look and feel." I have installed it and I am extremely pleased with the result. If you ask me, it actually gives Leopard the GUI that it should have had. After using this modified GUI, I think apple made a mistake trying to stick with the Tiger Aqua look. http://www.ileopard2.co.cc/
