Did you installed lastest nvidia drivers for OS X? on 10.5.8 you'll need it too. after installed see older posts that says you need generate 2 gfx strings, one for each card (because 9800 gx2 internally is 2 vgas packed in sli on single slot - it have an internal pci-pci bridge).

what do you mean by latest driver ?

i've downloaded evga driver something like a week ago ( before update ) .

i tried to install again to day and now I have those messages on boot ( on desktop display ):

the extension system "/system/library/extension/NVDAResman.kext" wasn't installed properly & cannot be use.

same for "/system/library/extension/NVDAN50Hal.kext" &"/system/library/extension/GeForce.kext"

but of course no changes ....

would you be kind enough to post what exactly is in your com.apple.Boot.plist just for me to understand well , what is wrong in mine...

Download 'Archive.zip' on older posts and try using hex strings. I think it will work for you.

hello, i recently changed my mobo with a xfx 780i nforce.

im trying make my 9800gx2 work by following this instructions.

with gfxutil i get this display:

DevicePath = PciRoot(0x1)/Pci(0x3,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)/Pci(0x2,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)

with pacifist i installed all evga drivers kext.

i tried Archive.zip device-propierties string in boot.plist.

rebooted with -f and nothing changed, i mean i got usual fram buffer desktop as i did it no changes.

Im running iAktos with 10.5.8.

Any suggestions?
