  1. I've got a MBA, so it's been a while since I've messed with a hackintosh, but when I was, I was using Boot Think because it allowed me to install it as a bootloader on a USB thumbstick, and store all of my modified kexts and DSDT on the thumbstick, while keeping my OS X hard drive 100% vanilla. It made repairing a borked system super easy. It just meant booting and installing an OS X DVD (something bootloaders couldn't do at the time), and it was back to normal. It made it almost feel like a real Mac So do any of the current generations of bootloaders, like Chimera or XPC, support running off a USB?
  2. Came across this... I've heard rumors, but now it seems it's true

  6. Chameleon 2.4svn Official PKG Installer

Haven't been following the dev lately, but have they added the feature to boot off a DVD via a Chameleon installed USB stick yet? For OS X installs and whatnot

  9. That TweakTown Forum is officially sanctioned by Gigabyte. Everything there is legit, and they have a Gigabyte employee (Janus Yeh) who is a member. If you don't trust the forum, e-mail him and he'll send you the BIOS
  10. Problem with Boot Think

Where are your kexts installed? Do you have any kexts that might conflict with the mkext that Boot Think also loads? Also, you might try asking this in the actual Boot Think thread. One of the developers posts there
  11. Problem with Boot Think

You need more than just to install Boot Think. You also need the right kexts for your hardware
  12. Are all of your kexts on the USB drive? Because if so, someone making you a generic bootloader wont work
