Hi all,

After a 3 year break I finally got back to Half Life 2 and finished it (been wanting to get rid of Windows, but I paid good money for HL2 and wanted to finish it first!). I'm now in two minds about deleting my Win partition, and fancy a bit more gaming. Looking forward to COD4 OS X (July I think), but if anyone could recommend anything else, I'd be greatful, doesn't have to be the latest and greatest (in fact, when I bought HL2 I had an Athlon 2500XP and a 9800pro, it was much better with my current kit)

You should try BioShock. Great story and I find it to be really fun, (though I'm the kind of person that plays with a certain degree of "patience" ie planning, experimentation (as in: "How many ways can I kill this splicer as efficiently as possible?") and exploration etc, instead of just trying to finish as quickly as possible, though that probably won't work in BioShock cuz' you can get lost if you don't pay attention to your surroundings.)

Hmm I would recommend playing Half Life 2 Episode 1 and 2. Unless you've already played them. If so then have some fun with Portal. Remember: The Cake is a Lie ;)

Yea Im going to second that lol, the HL eps are soo good. Ive had lots of fun playing through them when I finaly got round to buying them lol.

BioShock, Penumbra, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Mass Effect are the way to go next.

If you prefer some golden oldies, if you haven't played them of course, then Deus Ex and System Shock 2 will keep you pre-occupied for quite some time.

I'm in the exact same boat. Not much of a gamer myself but somehow got stuck into Half Life and eventually managed to finish it. Was pronanily one of the best games I've every played. Now I'm wondering where to go next. :ninja:
