Konami®
I uninstalled the preview and back to safari 3.1.1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/109835-so-has-anybody-tried-the-safari-4-preview-yet/#findComment-779622 Share on other sites
Mark K
Yeah I installed it and using it right now on Kalyway. Don't see any difference from 3.1.1 The UI looks EXACTLY the same. They say Java is faster and what not, but I have not ran any tests or anything. HowEver
From what I've read if you're using WebKit you have nearly all of the new implementations already, so I don't see the point. "Because it's there," I suppose. "Because it's there," I suppose. Wrong, using the nightly webkit you won't get access to any of the Safari specific frontends. All the nightly webkit does is gives you the backend access. the new stuff in the 'develop' menu wont be in the nightly webkit and the 'save as webapp' won't be there too (on top of other things). here's an article from the webkit/safari blog explaining what the nightly is exactly and what isn't: http://webkit.org/blog/101/back-to-basics/ Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/109835-so-has-anybody-tried-the-safari-4-preview-yet/#findComment-784981 Share on other sites
