:excl:This download is only for users who have a laptop with a 2010 Intel® Arrandale Processor with Intel® HD Graphics:

 

1st Generation Intel® Core™ Processor with Intel HD Graphics (Arrandale only)

Intel® Celeron® Processor with Intel® HD Graphics (Arrandale only)

Intel® Pentium® Processor with Intel® HD Graphics (Arrandale only)

 

Make sure the Device ID and Vendor ID match with the following:

 

Device ID: 0042 or 0046

Vendor ID: 8086

 

In here you will find my QE/CI and CI only packages for your 1st Generation Intel HD Graphics IGPU for OS X Mountain Lion, OS X Mavericks, OS X Yosemite, OS X El Capitan, macOS Sierra, and macOS High Sierra.

 

Choose your package:

 

Download the Intel® HD Graphics QE/CI package if your laptop is using the LVDS connector. This package has the necessary kexts to enable Quartz Extreme with Core Image (QE/CI). This enables full hardware/graphics acceleration.

 

or

 

Download the Intel® HD Graphics CI package if your laptop is using the eDP connector. This package enables Core Image (CI) only. This enables partial acceleration.

 

Note: CI only (CI) is only available on OS X Mavericks 10.9.5 and below. Future releases of macOS requires full graphics acceleration (QE/CI) for optimal performance and stability.

Works very well on an eMachines D732Z laptop running El Capitan :D (10.11.6) Waiting for Sierra's kext! Haha

This methods only for Notebook/laptop. How about for Desktop version with same Dev ID 0x00428086 rev 23?

CPU i3 530 is number for Intel HD Graphics Desktop version; can it use for Desktop version?

Desktop version was never supported by Apple.

guys, im using this modified kext on my macOS Sierra...

 

my dev id = 0046

 

LENOVO G460

 

so, im use the modified framebuffer.... im try...

 

but im stuck (cannot enter graphic)

 

when boot in verbose... it hang after "DSMOS Has Arrived ... NTFS blablaballa... "

 

in previous version of osx (el capitan).. this kext work fine...

 

any solution guys? maybe im forgot the method?? thanks...

rm -rf AppleIntelHDGraphicsFB.kext

rm -rf AppleINtelHDGraphics.kext

rm -rf /System/Library/Caches/*

reboot

 

let me know if this works and if u need clover config file for g460

This is the patched framebuffer used on OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 and is compatible on computers running macOS Sierra 10.12.

I've got 2 Toshiba laptops both with the same 1st gen intel hd graphics, M370 and M330. I managed to install Yosemite 10.10.5 and Sierra 10.12.4 on them but I can't seem get anything past post installation. Is there a config.plist around with the kext to patch included for Yosemite, El Capitan and Sierra?  That'd be grateful if someone could share, thanks.

Im only able to reach desktop if i use the fake id if i don't i get white screen.. But then again, i dont' have qe/ci when using fake id.. Please help.
