JonyBravo
Hello folks. I have tried macam. MacOS tells me I have a camera attached via USB (it is built-in in my notebook). Even the initial install took my "snapshot", however, the picture came out blank. No other software has can find the camera. I have no explanation for this. I wish someone had some ideas. Danyel
Hi JonyBravo: What kind of camera and notebook are you using? There's a list of supported cameras and functions on their website. Hmm... Blank image that's a new issue that I hadn't heard of. --danyel

linux4guru
I have a usb creative notebook pro cam and I think the issue is the video driver. I noticed when I use the standard default video driver, I was able to turn on the camera, but was not able to use with Yahoo IM or another IM. when I updated the video driver for my laptop Dell D610 using the Callisto 5 (this is the only version work on the D610) I now lost my usb cam access. I can't turn on the camera anymore.
